Techshare, 16 - 18 September 09

I am contacting you from the Royal National Institute of Blind people (RNIB) in the UK.  We are hosting a conference and exhibition on digital technology for people with disabilities, called Techshare 2009, on 16 - 18 September 2009 at ExCeL London.

 

The event aims to highlight the important role that digital technology (such as mobile devices, computer software and the internet) plays in the education, work and daily life of many disabled people. 

 

I would really appreciate it if you could help spread the word about Techshare 2009 to your contacts and anyone who you feel may be interested.  It would be great if you could, for example, include the event on your website and forward the details to any relevant mailing lists you have.

RTS clients - advertise your business FREE of charge in the RTS Online Directory

As part of our ongoing support to Ready to Start clients, we are creating an Online Directory that will advertise the businesses of RTS clients.  If you have set up a business while on the RTS scheme, you can advertise your products or services on the Directory free of charge.

The Directory will sit within the enterprise section of the brand new disability information portal, Yoodo, due to be launched early autumn.  As well as being a feature of the Portal, it will also be advertised on the Ready To Start website, the Online Network and will be promoted to google search engines.   Although the directory will feature RTS businesses, it will continue past the end of the RTS project and into the foreseeable future.  It will be maintained and you will be able to update your entry.
